Peking University’s Cultural China Young Scholars Project (including “Peking University’s Cultural China Young Scholars Program” and the Cultural China Young Scholars Program”) is an organization initiated by IAHS. Every year the program selects thirty exceptional Peking University undergraduate students to participate in courses, practical study, and field trips to supplement their basic required coursework.
Following the establishment of the World Ethics Institute we have continually investigated how to spread our world ethical knowledge to young students and elevate their capacities for humanistic caring. The Cultural China Young Scholars Project provided a wonderful platform to work toward such goals. Starting in the 2013 spring semester, the World Ethics Institute has begun the planning of curriculum and recruiting of professors to create a permanent world ethics course for the Young Scholars Program.
