Lv Zhi is Deputy Director of Peking University Center for Nature and Society. SVARVERUD, Rune

Rune Svarverud is Professor and Head of Research in the Department of Cultural Studies and Oriental Language at University of Oslo, where he received his Ph.D. in 1996. His main academic interests are the language, history and intellectual history of China. Professor Svarverud has mainly been working on two separate periods in Chinese history.
