Hahm Chaihark is a prominent South Korean legal philosopher and Professor at Yonsei University in Seoul. He was born in 1963 in Seoul, South Korea. He got his LLB degree from Seoul National University and moved to US for further studies. He studied at Yale Law School, Harvard and Columbia University and has a distinguished academic reputation. He published widely on the relationship between religion, culture and law, especially in an East Asian context. His main research areas are Constitutional Law, Political Theory and East Asian Legal Tradition.
