He Ping, born in October 1953 in Hubei Province, is Professor of Philosophy at Wuhan University. She acts as Deputy Director of the School of Marxism and Vice-Director of the Center for Women and Gender Studies at Wuhan University. She holds a position as Adjunct Researcher at the Institute of Marxist Philosophy and the Modernization of China at Zhongshan University. She is Standing Director of China Society of History of Marxist Philosophy (CSHMP), Standing Director of Hubei Association for History of Philosophy, Standing Director of Hubei Seminar for Women’s Theory, and is a Committee Member of the Decision-making Consultation Commission of the People’s Government of Hubei Province. He Ping was honored as a Cross-century Academic Leader of Hubei Province. She attended the 4th International Conference of Marxists in 2000. She also studied abroad in the United States in Department of Philosophy at Harvard University as senior visiting scholar in the year 2002. Later in August 2003, He Ping participated in the 21st World Congress of Philosophy in Turkey.
She has released more than ninety research papers in academic journals at home and abroad, such as Social Sciences Abroad, Xinhua Digest, Philosophical Research, Academic Monthly.
