Yan Wangjia was born in Kunming, Yunnan Province, in 1969. After graduating from Fudan University, she studied abroad in the United States. In 1996, she obtained her Ph.D. degree from Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania, and relocated in China the same year, when she established Venustech and served as CEO till now.
During the past two decades, Venustech has been a pioneer in network security, with considerable shares of the market. Numerous awards were authorized to Yan Wangjia. She was awarded the May 4th Youth medal by the Central Committee of the Communist Young League and March 8th Red-Banner Holders in 2008 by All-China Women’s Federation.
She is currently CEO of Venustech Corporation, Member of the National Committee of Chinese People’s Political Consultative Conference (CPPCC), Standing Committee of the All-China Federation of Industry and Commerce (ACFIC), and Standing Committee of the All-China Youth Federation (ACYF).
